Octodad Gets PS Move Support

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a PS4 game where you play an octopus masquerading as a human, trying to get through your daily life. Unfortunately, since you have no bones, doing even the simplest task without revealing yourself to your normal human wife and kids can become quite the challenge.

Part of the joy of Octodad is making him fumble and flop around, and we’d like to announce that we are bringing that joy into the real world with PlayStation Move support! You, too, can flail your arms like an octopus! (Don’t worry; you can still use a DualShock 4 if you’re feeling timid.)

We’ve been itching to do motion controls for a while now. Since Octodad is a game about wiggling your tentacles in 3D space, involving the player’s body has always seemed like a perfect fit. Controlling Octodad’s limbs 1-to-1 feels natural, and luckily doesn’t dampen his wacky movements. (PS4)

Having more options can never hurt.

Not always true for Kinect.

I know it's fun taking a stab at Kinect (I personally don't like it either, mostly because I have yet seen a game that really showed me it's great for gaming), but that can be true for anything really, devs focusing on too many different input methods or options can effect a game sometimes. They either work on making the game an overall better experience or make Move/Kinect/or whatnot work with their game. I definitely love options, but I would take a more polished full fledged experience over the ability for voice or motion controls anyday.

I can see this being more fun that way. I loved the PC free version and I am looking forward to this one as well

I'm looking forward to this, just not as much as other titles! What I'm really hoping for is move support for Killzone SF, I felt that the move support implemented in Killzone 3 was a nice addition.

We will really see the benefit of Move and PS Eye next-gen...Playroom will be cool if they make an exclusive horror game for it..Think about playing in your room and someone walk in and sees an zombie or an clicker literally coming at them..

Does this mean it can't be played via remote-play?

It has Dualshock 4 support so you should be able to still use remote play.
