Friday Night Rant: For God's Sake Let Kratos Go

OnlySp: We've had 6 great games with the rage-filled Spartan, but my recent experience with God of War: Ascension has me convinced that it's just time to let Kratos slip into history before he's completely wrung dry.

I'll explain why fans need to come to this realization, and how bringing this franchise into the modern era will take a new protagonist. (God of War: Ascension, PS3)

No, just because Ascension lacked in the story department doesn't mean Kratos has to be replaced. He still has so much more potential to grow if they continue after GoW3... GoW:A was just one prequel too many.

Also Kratos is Sony's Mario/Master Chief, you can't just replace your most iconic & popular character.
