Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan Review [Plus XP]

Plus XP contributor CJ writes "Etrian Odyssey was one of my favourite games on the original Nintendo DS. At that point I was rather taken with Atlus’ US output, and following the purchase of my beloved Demon’s Souls I began paying ever more attention to their releases.

When Etrian Odyssey caught my eye, I recall being rather taken by the characters, art and the way the game moved – and ended up importing the blighter.

It was one of a trio of games on the system which I really lost myself in, along with cheeky sci-fi belter Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey and the massively overlooked Dark Spire, both of which had a similar feel.@ (3DS, Etrian Odyssey IV) 87/100
