Will next gen consoles kill single-player games?

Metro - I’m worried. I keep hearing about how these big next gen titles like Destiny and Titanfall are blurring the lines between single and multiplayer. In theory it sounds great, in practice, well…

In practice I currently get to play for a short time before work, occasionally after work until the arguments over who should be doing dinner, and, if I’m lucky, I might get a week day evening or a weekend afternoon. On most of these occasions I don’t know how long I’ll get to play and if I’ll get interrupted.

You get a few online games and think single player gaming is dying.let's see cod still has a campaign,bf still has a campaign, assassins creed still has a campaign, killzone still has a campaign, watch dogs, gta v, b2s, etc... you get the idea. Single player gaming is far from dead.

I hope not. I enjoy the odd MP with friends but ive had the best gaming experiences on my own in SP. Skyrim, Fallout, Red Dead to name a few.

Not a chance. I would say its at least 50% of the people who play games only play single player. I never play online and if I cant stay in passive mode all the time in GTA V I will stay from that too.

Let's hope not. Not everyone is ready for this always online BS.
