Mitch Dyer:Destruction in Infamous Second Son is like Red Faction Guerilla

Destruction in Infamous Second Son is like Red Faction Guerilla. Super detailed, lots of explodey bits. Really impressive. (inFamous: Second Son, PS4)

YES! That is awesome news.

I'm so sad we'll never see a sequel for RF Guerilla. I can't believe they threw it out and came up with Armageddon.

This is amazing. Especially considering the damage remains through your play-through aswell.

Infamous Second Son is by far my most anticipated PS4 title.

That is very very impressive from a tech standpoint.

Now thats game changing.

:)

And some people say that having better hardware does nothing to enhance gameplay.

Awesome indeed! I wish more games would adopt destruction like Red Faction did. Glad to hear Infamous is implementing it. Maybe more games will follow since they have the added horsepower this gen.

Armegeddon was fun though. This is excellent news.

WHAT??? REALLY? I am sad constantly since I finished RF:Guerilla, that we are not going to get a sequel. Man this is some seriously awesome news...
Pintheshadows  +   417d ago
I'm not even sure what happened to the RF IP. If I had the money i'd buy it and see if I could get a dev to make a sequel to Guerilla. I think it may be lost though with THQ collapsing and just before hand them basically ending the IP themselves. I don't think it even exists anymore. It is in limbo.
porkChop  +   417d ago
Someone bought the IP, I just don't remember who it was.
Dark_Overlord  +   417d ago
Nordic Games purchased it :)

This game is among the most next gen games we've seen so far.

Red Faction Guerilla had the best physics this gen. Heck I think its even better than Frostbite 3 Engine. EA talking about levelution, well look at this.

Hopefully Infamous Second Son will take this to another level. I hope to see a Next Gen Red Faction with physics exceeding this.

so sad it isn't a launch title but February sounds good

Again, copying from another superior franchise.
So unoriginal.
