Techland game developer talks about their newest title, Dying Light, and the differences between day and night in the game.
Liking the look of this game. I can imagine having some really tense chases at night. That slow mo look over the shoulder feature is epic too, hope they keep that in. Incorporating free running was a smart move in my opinion, otherwise this could have just been "another zombie game"
I completely agree. I love the fact that Dying Light is a proper Survival Horror game instead of generic action shooter featuring zombies. Can't wait to see more :)
Yeah it seems that running away stylishly is your main weapon.
Yep, it definitely looks like best of both worlds in this game. During the day you can do all your hacking & slashing with your new weapons, to get your hands on even more cool stuff. Only for it all to be left useless at night time, cause it seems it will turn into pure survival mode at night, which is great. They look like a very nasty mean bunch of mothers @night! lol
I actually really can't wait for this game...it looks super fun
It looks really great. I'm super excited for this game too!
While I did not watch the video I have to think most would be able to tell the difference between day and night. I mean I do this each day. One is lighter than the other. Other is very dark!!!! In Obama's name....
I love the free running aspect - this is going to be a great game.
mirrors edge with zombies,
Agreed that is what making me like this game more and more. Ive always wanted a Mirrors Edge Zombie game. Running for my life!
I love the way french people say development such as this guy and david cage. Dev-lop-ment. Fantastic!
This game looks good like how Dead Island looked good. I'll wait for a demo I can get my hands on and reviews for how extended play is. Techland is on my watch list.
The more I see of this game, the less interested I am in it. Feels too much like a souped up Dead Island (with a little Mirrors Edge for good measure)which got repetitive after just a few short hours of playing it.
