The Internet Reacts To The 2DS Reveal

Think what you will of the recently-unveiled Nintendo 2DS, but at the very least we can't say that it's a hardware reveal that went unnoticed—Nintendo's curiously-designed budget handheld started getting reactions from the internet almost immediately (Culture, Nintendo 2DS)

I’m suing Nintendo. Making a 2D handheld that nobody wants is an idea they stole from the PS Vita

Too good.

It hasn't even been a day and I already can't stand people saying the 2DS is pointless because you can turn off the 3D on a 3DS. People need to understand that it isn't an upgrade to the 3DS. It's a less expensive model for people who don't have one yet.

Except the pricing is a little bit odd. There is a $50 difference between this and the normal 3DS and in the UK that differences is £21. Now I can't speak about how much a $50 difference is but £21 is a small difference (really small). It is a cheaper console for Nintendo to make but that price doesn't really translate to he consumer. I get if they released a slim version of the 3DS and get rid of the old 3DS (sell it for cheaper) to cut cost but they are not. It is just odd
