Nintendo announces the 2DS: Good for the kids, I guess

The Nintendo 2DS is a handheld at a lower price point. Is that what Nintendo really needs? (3DS, Nintendo, Nintendo 2DS)

Yo Ted. Nintendo made it pretty clear that the 2DS was designed for children under 7, since the 3D effect of the other models is not good for the eyes of younger children. Anyone 7 and older can stick with the 3DS and 3DS XL.
