Kotaku - If you've played a multiplayer game, maybe you've watched a scene like the one from this episode of Battlefield Friends by Hank and Jed unfold—one where a woman joins your match or squad, and all of a sudden the atmosphere changes.
So now we promote violence against woman? Its okay to hurt them or something, as long as we dont see their boobs?
this is so true..ok lets not generalize every gamer but hey this is a common problem amongst gamers. No wonder people see gamers as basement dwellers with no life, not able to interact with society and promote sexism.
Err, what? You've confused me. What has that got to do with the video? Which was funny by the way.
yea which part was it violent against women?
@Foxdunce Violence against 'Humans' has existed for a long time.... There is no discrimination on GENDER when it comes to Violence, VIOLENCE IS VIOLENCE. No need to further branch away from the desired equality-goals and try to make it sound like females deserve Special Benefits for being female. And what do you mean PROMOTE VIOLENCE? Wtf.
lol funny vid. I remember playing Burnout Paradise in the airfield and I took down a girl who just joined the game and her mugshot popped up and she looked good. Everyone else was doing there own thing, doing barrel rolls and taking out each other but everyone eventually found out she was a girl and that was the beginning of the end lol. Next thing I saw was 6 cars chasing this girl across the airfield and then she eventually left after been taking down countless times lol.
Poor girl lol.
I dunno...There's a few chicks that run in the same groups I do and when they joined up we didn't make a big deal out of it. Sure, some jokes have been made but they weren't offended, found several of them funny, and we all moved on. People are just overly sensitive as this stuff targets both sides. I mean seriously, the 1st time I joined a room in BF I said hello and got told to "shut the f*** up and lick my b***s" and he was on my team. Being a girl just gives 'em different things to bust your chops with, but assholes are assholes regardless of the gender they're dealing with.
if you don't invite women to your card games at home your not going to online game with them, its just that simple. be honest nobody really wants to play with a female online, its a male dominated thing and we generally fight enough amongst our self's so throwing a women into the mix just makes us act even more crazy.
That's the kind of backwards thinking that prevented women from voting.... "Oh women shouldn't vote, politics is a boys game, if women get involved things will just get too complicated." The reality of the matter is that regardless if a gamer is male/female, white/black, straight/gay, they should not have to feel subjected and uncomfortable. Games are for everybody.
no body said they cant play, or shouldn't i just stated that if you don't already play with them your not going to and most likely wont. and as for everybody not feeling subjected or uncomfortable guess what, not going to happen ! its the internet and nobody gets treated fairly.
Females shouldn't be allowed to play because males are douche-bags? Yea, makes complete sense. /s
Dont know what the big fuss is over girls playing games...i mean seriously are we in middle school still running from cooties
why does she have a mustache?
