IGN just got back from Gamescom, and Andrew Goldfarb pretty much only played net-gen shooters. Here's why Titanfall dominated.
Wow, IGN is really in love with this game.
I don't blame them...game looks sick and offers a breath of fresh air against COD
You will see me wasting everybody parcor-style on launch day.
@malokevi ...unless you run into mean! ;) better join my team!
Ign's most anticipated game by far.
So far Ign's saying Titanfall is better then Killzone.
That's exactly what they're saying. It's obvious that Titanfall is better with all the awards it has won. It has great reviews. Killzone looks slow and boring. The only ones downplaying Titanfall is....you know who. Lol
I'm not trying to start anything I mean that it IGN's opinion not mine. I wanna see for myself but then again you are right it won all kinds of awards more than any other game. I wouldn't bash Killzone the game looks great imo. We have to wait and see when Titanfall releases. Overall Titanfall is one of my most anticipated.
Titanfall baby! Xbox one! Titanfall and the clouds dedicated servers = perfection!
You have spelled your own demise.
Not if you have good internet and I don't see how a opinion comment gets down voted?
I didn't downvote him. He's just begging for it is all I'm saying. I approach the topic with cautious optimism
EA is gonna be ruling stuff here in the near future... Battlefield 4 = great game 2013 (although CoD fanboys @ IGN are gonna find a reason to talk negatively, just watch) Titatnfall = Great game 2014 Star Wars Battlefront = Great game 2015... watch out Activision...
It's going to be a pretty good game, but can we not blow it out of proportion? I'm definitely getting it, but it doesn't exactly revolutionize anything. It takes the best parts from Call of Duty, Starhawk, and Brink...making for a very solid shooter.
Why does it have to be revolutionary or blown out of proportion? It's a great game that has everyone excited, that's really it. It doesn't have to be revolutionary, innovative or over hyped. It is just a genuinely excellent looking (and playing from what people have said) game that a lot of people are talking about.
Yeah. That's what I'm saying...
This game is really looking excellent. Seriously the pace of the game from what I have seen so far is really mind blowing. You can bet I will have this come midnight launch.
Titanfall looks awesome. But I think I'll still prefer my unheapthy helpings of killzone and battlefield.
Crap, it looks like xbox might be the place for online shooters? Between Titanfall, Cod dedicated servers (may or may not come to PS4), and I just heard The Division will have exclusive content for X1. I was totally set on getting a PS4, but I really like online shooters so now I may be forced to switch =(
Saying it's "Next Gen" when it's the source engine. I really hate it when game websites refer to everything as "Next Gen", sooo annoying.
It's on a next-gen console so it's next gen.
What would you call it? It may not look as pretty as the PC version of BF4 but it still looks great and the gameplay looks amazing....
I have no problem with the game, nor the source engine. Just the use of the words Next-Gen.
It looks like great fun and I'll be getting it but I still fear that it'll end up too much like Cod, just from the videos, and will prove to be a shallow experience. Hope not though.
I going to rule at this game..Im the best mech pilot and soldier. If your too far away when I see you..dont worry..ill save you for later! ;)
