'Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag' will rejuvenate the series for hardcore fans

With the Assassin's Creed franchise about to make its fifth installment over the past five years, some people are starting to allege that they feel fatigue for this franchise and that Ubisoft needs to take a break. You all couldn't be more wrong about that because of what we've seen and heard from Ubisoft thus far.

I hope so, the last creed game i loved was 2. The new one looks better than revelations and 3, so, that's a good sign.

From what I've seen it's:

* Still a bunch of "follow this guy and listen to their conversations"

* Pointless ship battles that majority of people would rather not deal with.

Sounds ...ehhhhh at best

How though...I mean at times when watching the gameplay videos it looks like a new IP with all the pirate stuff. Then they give it a sub title for a main game, to be honest this feels like a story which would of been better off as part of the AC3 games, like AC3: Black Flags. You could of had this one about Connors grandfather and then the next one in the AC3 games could of been about Haytham, Connors father.

this game stopped being good after 2 when they started making one ever year and its such a shame because i loved 1 and 2.
OT: i hope they don't do this with watch dogs because that looks awesome

Can't wait to play this. I love AC games. They are a nice addition to the open world genre without being all about crime.

Currently working my way through AC 3 at the moment and enjoying playing it once i got the homestead opened up. Game really starts to shine when you reach this part.

Looking forward to the 4th installment.
