Ouya's advertising gets edgy; a masterstroke that should help its fortunes

The quickly pulled controversial advert that the Ouya team showcased a few days ago has created a flurry of negative press - was it's edgy advertising intentionally targeted in such a way that it could actually help the console's future, despite the negativity? (Android, Ouya)
