With enough other media type folks to fill out some nice multiplayer action, we spent an afternoon playing all three of the new maps, exploring how they play under multiple game types, seeing the new elements put into Forge, and just generally having a good old Halo time.
Each of the three new maps is completely unique and plays to a different type of experience. Let's not forget, this is Halo 3 and this is Bungie, so a lot of careful thought, detailed design and hour upon hour of play testing has resulted in maps that have great flow, no matter the game type. When you toss in the new forge capabilities – mostly new items for each of the new maps, plus some artsy camera filters for making your saved movies and screens look really neat – you've got a pretty decent bit of downloadable content for an already great multiplayer experience."
