IGN: "This sublimely surreal finger-bending role-playing game with a difference is one of the highlights of PS4's early indie lineup."
The power of Indies. Someone said here that 20 of 30 Ps4 exclusives aren't AAA but instead Indie games. Making it sound like it was a bad thing. Personally I think this is better than having more shooters.
Just pointing out, that Sony said that there would be 25 FIRST PARTY AAA titles within first year. So the likes of ND, SSM, and MM. Indies are just icing on top.
I want this so badly. The first game was just incredible nuts but fun at the same time. An octopus disguised as a dad, if that set up of the game doesn't sound ridiculous fun to you I don't know what will Off topic but say what you will about this community comment section but it is nothing like IGNs. IGN's is horrific. They need to sort it out
Ign's comment section is a lot more funny though...
Exactly what I was thinking. The premise of the game alone is worth a laugh. Add in the purposely "odd" controls of the game, and it sets up scenarios that are absolutely hilarious. "Honey, could you clean the table?" -Octodad swipes a tentacle across the table wiping it's entire contents onto the floor. "Thanks honey...looks great...you are such a great husband!"
Boldness are the best thing about indies.
I really don't see the charm of this particular game, and I praise indie games but this is way over the top... I'll take Contrast, Volume, Rime, The Witness and Resogun.
Try the old free pc version (20 minute long game) of this game. Should give you an insight into how this game plays without being too taxing on your pc
