This game along with Skylanders represent the worst of the gaming industry imo! Talk about a shameless way to milk gamers dry!
Agree.. the gaming industry is in a deplorable state really.
Only if you're ready to ignore a ton of great stuff that is released every week. Remember: the game industry is no longer JUST about the big blockbusters you see advertised on television. There's a bunch of indie and downloadable stuff that's well worth your time (check out Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, for instance). The existence of games you don't like doesn't necessarily mean the industry is in sad shape, and it never has.
74.99 for the game + 12.99 per figure to unlock content that's already on the disk. Yeah, that's a pathetic way to make money from gamers IMO. It's no shock that games like this and Skylanders are targeting kids. Easier for the adults to buy this garbage when their kids are begging for it. Try to make a Final Fantasy or a Metal Gear solid game like this and see just how many of these figures they sell.
