Star Citizen just pierced the $16,000,000 barrier in crowd funding, and Chris Roberts revealed the new hangar module, that every backer will be able to download soon.
Way too much imo ...just listen to the crowd especially between 35 - 45min I'm far from convinced that this game is worth the hype it gets.
It's not about how much you or I think this game should receive in funding, but about how much gamers believe in this project and want to support it. Clearly people have voted with their dollars and I am glad to see something like this happen because it shows, if people believe in something they will support it with more than just words.
don't dis the buggy.
Im loving the progress in the life of Star Citizen. How transparent it is. Humble Beginnings :)
No modern Colony Wars, no modern Wing Commander, where's a guy supposed to get his space dogfights from? RIGHT HERE AT STAR CITIZEN!!! I hope anyway.
I am so excited, this is a really good time to be a PC Gamer. Star Citizen will be the PC exclusive that will make MOST Console gamers envious! Some say that PC does not have good exclusives, they don't like our Strategy games and MMOs or our RPGs, but they will definitely be amazed by this!
We're getting the MMOs and StarCitizen is considering to go on PS4 too! RTS just don't work (Kinect/Move/Touchpad can change that).
All I know is that PlanetSide 2, ESO, and FF14 are going on PS4, I don't care how you put it, MMOs are just best played on PC imo. Also Star Citizen stays on PC, if you guys do get Star Citizen it will be a very dumbed down version, Chris Roberts wouldn't do such a thing. Star Citizen is much too massive man, the PS4's cpu and gpu won't be able to handle it. Watch when it goes to PS4 it won't be as good. Another thing, RTS is meant to be played with keyboard and mouse, not Kinect, Move, or a Touchpad, you gotta connect the M+K for that to work.
So excited for thursday!!!
