I payed the remainder of my ps4 off today. I cant remeber the last time i was so happy to spend my hard earned money.

I plan on picking up my Vita closer to launch day. I really want the full experience of everything Sony's PlayStation has to offer.

The Vita is worth owning solely for the fact that you can use it to remotely turn on the PS4 when you're in another room. So when you walk in the room there's a futuristic device already on, beckoning you to play. And an equally futuristic device in your hand that you can use to walk back into the previous room and play the PS4 remotely

Yes you are so RIIIIIGGGHT!!!!!,I myself plan on making that move to however it will be sometime in early 2014 when i get a Vita, however as of now just waiting for NOV15th...I hope for the sake of this industry(others will disagree and have some facts to back them up to!!)that ValueAct gets on Microsoft's stock board after Steve Balmer's retirement and forces M$ to sell off there Xbox division..this is truly what the industry needs because Sony is the only manufactures that have proven time and time again, that they push the technological fold of this industry to the next level..M$ only cares about holding us back an finding ways to nickel and dime us on everything even remotely innovative!!!.....4>>1!! !!!!!

>I have to disagree. Although Sony has been consistently saying that Vita's remote play should work perfectly with the PS4. Considering that, at this point, so little is known about it it shouldn't be the main reason why one would purchase a Vita as there can still be factors such as the service being behind a paywall, input lag etc that one might not be amenable to.

As a Vita owner you should purchase the Vita for its offering of unique experiences such as Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice and its feature of letting you play most games on the go (albeit most are ports).

But Remote play isnt behind a paywall! Input lag was confirmed very minute and considering the PS4 is the host during remote play the Vita is just another wireless controller, Your wifi signal strength will determine the major experience as its need for Remote Play to work.

I do agree though, Remote Play is just one reason to own the PS Vita, But the real reason comes down to the amazing software thats out for it and releasing soon as well as the fact that its cheaper and with plenty of value packed into it as a dedicated gaming hand held!

It's a handheld along with being a portable PS4...it's a very capable and functional little console.

I believe walmart has a deal where they have a vita 4gb memory and 1 year ps plus for 199. Take adavantage now before they sell out they are basically giving it away.
GdaTyler  +   339d ago
All I'm saying is that they better announce some more AAA Vita games once the PS4 releases. It would be nice if they signed the deal for Bioshock Vita and finally began development already.
Protagonist  +   339d ago
Damn that title turned out to be vaporware.
sherimae2413  +   339d ago
actually... we cant say its a vaporware to begin with as we all knew it was just announced only and never started development...

and only last month we got news that ken levine is still trying to make that happen and still in talks with sony and 2k

and with the announcement of borderlands 2 by 2k there is still some hope for that to happen, we can be assured by borderlands 2 because they confirmed it on their site and revealed the studio who will do the porting and a planned release of 2014

FINAL FINAL VERSION

Final Fantasy 7 Remake/HD confirmed for the PS Vita!

I kid, I kid. Seriously.

bloody hell, my ps4 will never get a rest for a while, or only when I'm sleeping or at work. even when u are on toilet, or before sleep in bed, or when the others watching something on tv, u can be with it. so happy I bought my vita day one and now I don't need to keep money for that and I can use every single function on my ps4, I will sure buy a camera too :)
would be nice a camera plus game bundle for £419, and for those who don't have a vita an ultimate bundle with ps4, vita, camera, 2 games, 90 days ps plus for £559 :)
