The Humble Origin Bundle Hits Almost 2 Million Downloads

After a week or so of EA's Charity Event "Humble Bundle", the download area is rocking round to the 2 Million mark with a view to surpassing that amount this coming weekend.

With a slew of websites and social media portals using the codes as promotional tools for their respective pages, the 5 charities involved are reaping serious amounts of vital cash therefore it is imperitive to keep the program's momentum for the next 5 days when it's expected the program will bow out gracefully with a smile.

This news post will link you directly to the purchase area to continue all the good work and a hearty congratulations to all those that may or have taken part in this truly awesome event.

If you spend more than the average donation (currently $4.85), on top of receiving The Sims 3 and Battlefield 3, you will now also get C&C Red Alert 3 and Populous, bargain. Plus as well as the Origin codes you also get select codes for Steam. Boom!

You can also view the video that explains how to purchase the codes right there on the page by scrolling down. (Battlefield 3, Burnout Paradise, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Crysis, Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, Mirror's Edge, PC, The Sims 3)

Dead Space 3 is already in the bundle? Sad.

Whats sad about selling games at stupidly low prices to raise money for charity?

It's fun for co-op but the game is basically easy mode compared to the ones before it. I hate the main menu all those rock/ice/alien flipping monitors got annoying/nauseating fast.

Also, manual reloading clips is a waste of ammunition. Playing on Impossible difficulty feels like Dead Space 1 normal mode.

Anything below Impossible difficulty will have you hauling a crapload of ammunition.

$5 price for all these games is a great buy though.

got it for $1 last week...already had all the games, but gave them to friends :)

I buy every bundle, heck, it's only a dollar, even if I have all the games

I also always get suckered into giving a dollar at stores too when they ask if its for some good cause, or to hobos

i'm not rich, but I can spare a dollar if its for something good!

Nothing better then getting some good games while also helping out a good cause.

Nope. You don't get Red Alert 3, you get the standalone expansion--which so far is none too impressive.
