Polygon - How one woman, tired of seeing derogatory Native American cliches, decided to make games about her people.
First game to be made is cowboys and Indians lol.
My first though when seeing the article was the "Native American" loan company, western sky that likes to rip off the idiots with insane rates... http://www.westernsky.com/G...
woo! native pride! haha good to hear.
first game will be teach you how to live of the government check, make kids,be lazy, get drunk, beat up and rape your children.
well thats racist.
Was Assassins Creed 3 a negative portrayal then?
Meeeeh. I'm part Native American, Creek, and took no offense to AC3, then again I'm not easily offended by much nor do I have this need to portray my people as being humble and noble all the time who see great spirits and stuff. They have their share of good and bad like ALL other cultures/tribes around the world. Just don't take in all of this because it's usually written by the guilty white liberals or the completely pro-Native American extremists who can't criticize their own ancestry. I'm not even necessarily directing this at the people behind this company, because they do make good points I kinda agree with, but the agenda and direction the article is going does tread the typical nonsense of "f**k white people" slogan. Just enjoy AC3, I enjoyed it a lot. Don't let anyone tell you to dislike it just because they feel the need to use it as another political tool to one up the other side. If someone wanted to learn about Indian tribes, then they should read it online and through books, and not use video games because video games are not the way to tell history.
