After Exodus is the Closest We'll Get to a Minecraft MMO

BNR: I don't enjoy comparing games, but After Exodus has forced my hand. After Exodus is currently in pre-alpha, and it's going to be an open-world sandbox MMO with procedurally generated environments. According to the game's official site, you'll "command a vehicle in which you can explore, extract resources, engineer advanced vehicles and weapons, build cities, or conquer your foes." That sounds like a decent idea for a game, but there's something else about it that caught my eye- the procedurally generated landscapes. The world of After Exodus has no set size- just as in Minecraft, you don't run into an invisible wall if you visit the edge of the world- the world simply continues to create itself.
