ArcadeSushi: At the recent Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer reveal, Activision kicked off the event by showing us some Call of Duty Facts That Will Blow Your Mind. The sheer numbers that this franchise has managed to pull in are astounding. So we took those facts, did some research to confirm them, added a few of our own, and came up with this list of 10 Call of Duty Facts That Will Blow Your Mind. (Call of Duty, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Question:
Isn't the last picture from a MOH commercial?

Also, none of this blew my mind at all.

No, I think it's from the "There's a soldier in all of us" ad campaign for the first Black Ops.

Mind not blown at all. The "facts" in this article only strengthen my will to stay as far away from this game as possible.

My facts of CoD in no particular order...
(That they don't want you to know)

1. Lag is not only caused by your connection but BY the ENGINE itself. Meaning if you play offline or system to system you will still see LAG. Also transitional animations such as "going to prone" and "jumping" are invincible to attacks because the engine can not keep up with the speeds of online gameplay.

2. The engine of CoD was created in the 90's and used for Quake and CoD has yet to see a NEW Engine. Only updates..

3. The camera of your player is screwed and higher than your body in the game world. This creates "head glitching".. Also angles in CoD are not synced because of this camera, therefor creates "You see me, before I see you" effect when running around corners.

4. Sniping online has all the priority over all guns: close and long range, with toughness perk built it.

5. Some guns have embedded code in the game to cancel lag. I like to call them "lag cutters". Samples in BO2 are All snipers but the balista, most pistols and Remington Shot Gun.

6. Every year sniping gets easier and easier because of youtube videos and eSports. Free publicity.
