Sony announced that the social streaming service, also on Xbox One, will be coming to PS4, much like Ustream
RIP Xbox One.
Where's everyone who said it wouldn't happen?
Xbox already have that lol
Yes. But PS4 has that and Ustream. It only does everything. Better.
lol calm down kid
I know right?!
I guess that article was right all Sony had to do to get twitch was ask.
I was the one who said that lol, I saw this coming but I didn't expect them to announce it this early.
@sobotz: 1) Kind of the exact point. 2) Don't have to pay to access it. 3) ;p
I hate people who consider themselves gamers yet find themselves in these pointless fanboy battles. It's so annoying
I hate people who try to play the true gamers sheeple up to Micro$haft....You don't have to buy into the Micro$haft crap to be a true gamer, they actually use their brains and are leery about Micro$haft and their shady hardware and tactics...Not just Nom Nom Nom I love Microjizz
i dont see how ps4 having twitch while the xbox already had it announced is grounds for "RIP xbox" but w.e not much "logic" in that statement there Nature
Xbox announce they had it at E3. Anyway thats great Sony's on board with Twitch. Seriously Twitch is the only way to go.
PlayStation broadband access baby
That was something I punched the air in delight at! If they could get a deal with BT then thats fucking great! I only get about 1.7mb/s which isnt great...
Am I the only who realized how desperate Sony is by mentioning features that are not behind a pay wall. They think that bad mouthing a second time would help them?
Yes thats just so desperate that with the PS4 pre orders out numbering the Xbone 4:1, that they keep mentioning unlike micro$haft and their daily 180s they aren't locking everything behind a pay wall.....LOL someone must be a butthurt Xbot
But he's a real boy hence forth from this day he will be known as xboy
ok, good news, but i couldn't care less.
so much for the PS4 not being an entertainment machine as well :/ I personally don't care for those video apps but at least it will appease those who do (and Xbox One fanboys)
Lol seriously. And that tv service deal with Viacom too. It sound cool tho
@Torchic Xbox fanboys didn't claim anything? You think only Xbox players watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon video, or Youtube? You are severly misguded.
Xbox gamers kept claiming PS4 is only PS3.5 and was only a dedicated gaming machine with no entertainment. PS4 and Xbox One will have parity on the entertainment side excpet for HDMI in.
realistically of the 80million users of the consoles (assuming all 80mil are unique users) what percentage of people will actually use twitch or ustream... .01% maybe .1% at a stretch
What happened to "Twitch is better, it's only on Xbox!"? Seems like many are changing their tunes, huh? Hehe.. (Playful banter, guys, calm down.)
Yea, it's the same as more RAM, Indies and TV, TV, TV. Both sides need to calm down. By the way i'm moving the convo over to here: http://n4g.com/news/1336964... Seems we need back to back articles to get this news heard.
Looks like PS4 is the 'go to' machine for everything.
Twitch for PS4 is awesome. Hard not to LOL a little at the camp who claimed it would never come to PS4
Honestly i wanted games and they only showed us the indies so far so ehhhhhhh xbox one maybe but sony always comes out with them at some point and there always really good
Kinda thought ps4 pre orders was higher than 1 million? If it's sold 4/1 in Europe then maybe Xbox is at 500,000 pre orders or something worldwide.
This is great news...I don't see the point in having HDMI-In to plug in a cable box.. Streaming is becoming vastly more popular than cable now. I certainly don't care for cable and would rather cut the cord and pay less for streaming content that actually matters to me instead. We can also listen to music in the background while playing games on PS4 that's great news.. I would hardly use that feature for certain games because it would ruin the immersion but still a great feature especially for arcade and Indy games.
