Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate not planned for Wii U

nintendoeverything:

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate started out as a 3DS game. And while producer David Cox had essentially denied the existence of an updated version in the past, it was announced yesterday that an HD update is coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Wii U)

If you are talking about the 3DS game, Mirror's of Fate then you are right. That game sucked. It is the worst 2D Castlevania game I've ever played. I sold it without even bothering to finish it. It was no good.

For the Wii U? Who cares. They're getting Wonderful 101, Wind Waker HD, Sonic Lost World, Bayonetta 2 and other infinitely better games. Most Wii U owners have a 3DS. If they actually wanted this game they would have it.

Not can an upport of a bad game is not a loss, though going by the comments a lot people want it be, which is the saddest thing. Why to people constantly imply, hopingly, that Wii U honors feel sad about devs ,who's game they never purchased before, not porting their games on the console?

I can speak for them, the "real" Wii U games, that when EA and other Shooter/Sports/Generic-Action junky devs don't announce their bad ports for the Wii U, Wii U owners do not care.

Konami is the one green-lighting and paying for these ports, and they are doing so because Mirror of Fate didn't sell well on the 3DS.

mirror of fate was also rated pretty poorly. That's why i didn't pick it up.

They should have just made a traditional 2D Castlevania for 3DS.

It didn't sell well because it wasn't well made. It was a disappointment far and large.

Mirror's of Fate was good for making a successful game on the 360/PS3, but that series had no business crapping up the hand held market. The 2D RPG Castlevania's were doing just fine.

of course not, none of those fanboys bought when it was on the 3ds.

I played the demo of this on 3ds and I wasn't impressed with it. While an HD gloss is nice it wouldn't help with the rest of the games problems.
