The Failed Republic

It's been suggested that this is an MMORPG that caters only to Star Wars fans, and it's those people that The Old Republic is marketed at. Unfortunately, this Star Wars fan has a hard time finding the desire to spend money on this game. (PC, Star Wars:The Old Republic)

The author needs to realize that a F2P MMO of any type needs to make money. He played the game with the intent of “not spending a penny”. How would he feel that he didn’t make any cash for his services? We get caught up in this entire F2P saying that really isn’t true. However if I play a game that is F2P, I view it as a major demo and start subbing if I like it. And the author needed to pay to get a subbed after he enjoyed the demo!
