The unveiling by Sega of the new Yakuza spin-off Yakuza: Ishin (or Ryu Ga Gotoku: Ishin) left many with more questions than answers. For instance, what platform (or platforms) will the game be on? I assume this is PS4 since they said Y5 was the last for PS3 and that the Sony fanbase is the Yakuza fanbase.

So after GC and the PS4 news, we will get more news on this. nice.

That may or may not be true. I'm quite sure they said Yakuza 5 was the last Yakuza of the main series to be on PS3. This is a spin off, so who knows.

the first Yakuza on Ps3 was Kenzan and that was a samurai spin-off...

Or, considering Sega's last move with the series, it might mean it's not coming back to Playstation at all and staying with Wii...

I personally hope that does NOT happen as the game would not get the support, or even the hardware, it requires to thrive like it does on PS3/PS4

Well, looking at how 'awesome' Yakuza HD sold on WiiU, i believe that will not happen. But maybe Sega will make it multiplats. Who knows? 3rd party exclusive became more rare this days...

i don't care if this is on wiiu and xbox as long we the playstation fanbase also get it, don't cut a stupid move with nintendo to make this a wiiu exclusive
