Dragon’s Crown for PS3 & PS Vita $5 Off, Xenoblades Chronicles is… $75?

Siliconera - While not exactly a runner-up for the biggest savings of the year, last week’s release of Dragon’s Crown for the PS3 and PS Vita can be had at GameStop for a flat $5 discount. The new coupon on Dragon’s Crown stacks with the free shipping coupon SAVER, giving you a chance to save a trip to the local GameStop. The PS3 version is $44.99 after discount, while the PS Vita version is $34.99. (Dragon's Crown, GameStop, PS Vita, PS3, Wii, Xenoblade Chronicles)

It almost makes me wish the industry really was going full digital, just to put that trashy, scum-sucking company out of business...almost.

I mean, this is basically the gaming equivalent of price gouging.

Hardly. You're overthinking, and overreacting.

I remember, a few- well, more than a few, about six or so- years ago, a nearby store had a used copy of MVC2 on PS2 for sale. It was the most expensive game in the store, and the only one in the state.

At GameStop, anyway.

If you don't like the price, you can always buy it off ebay or craigslit or somewhere. Not like GameStop's the only place you can find a used copy. If it were, then you'd have a point.

But it's not, so..

Oh. This was my mistake. I was commenting on the rumor that they were receiving stock, opening them, and then selling them for inflated prices.

I wasn't aware that that claim had been debunked. My mistake.
