Speaking to Siliconera, producer Dave Cox said most players only see 50% to 60% of the game their first time through.
This game is disappointing me. It looks awesome, but in over a year now, they've shown 1 gameplay clip. Now they just pushed the release date back to February 2014. I'm such a big Castlevania fan, and it's really tough for me to wait this long. When they show very very little footage and give so little info, then push the release date back, it worries me. This game probably won't be all it can be due to releasing so close to the next gen launch.
It's true that some people will ignore it because they will be focused on the new consoles and games, and that is sad, but Mercury Steam is a very talented studio and if they think they need more time then I am sure it is for the best. The wait is hard for me too. Even waiting until this winter was going to be hard. I simply loved Lords of Shadow so much. It was one of the best games I played all generation. It had something special about it that I can't quite put my finger on...beyond the great gameplay, fantastic narrative and amazing graphics.
Free up the camera and maybe I will buy it, didn't like LOS for that reason.
The camera is free this time, one of many improvements.
I did actually like LOS, just not tha camera, this is good news ty
I think Lords of Shadows was great! Everything was just so on-par; the music was nice & fitting, the levels was very atmospheric, & the gameplay was fun & engaging, voiceovers were fine, & it was very refreshingimg how the gameplay smoothly changes, from climbing to the various action sequences. I have high hopes that LoS2 will only deliver more of dat. I'm excited!
