Hardcore gamers will never give up their consoles and pcs for a tablet, not now at least.

If done right, using a tablet (or smartphone) can be an addition to conventional gaming. Especially when it comes to things that can be offloaded to a secondary device instead of breaking the gameplay on the main screen.

As to dedicated tablet games, the lack of buttons is always brought up but there have been some really good translations of games that used buttons initially and now use the touch screen.

Also with the popularity of direct input via bluetooth, there are more and more real controllers coming out that work with various tablets and phones. It defeates the convenience of mobility but then again if Im playing a game on my phone, Im not walking around doing so.

Im likely to fall into a fountain if i did that.

I like the second screen concept if it's done correctly but I couldn't play games solely on my ipad. I need physical buttons
