Lords of the Fallen wants to be "a trendsetter for hardcore triple-A RPGs" on next-gen platforms

GR-UK writes: "Tomasz Gop explained to us the reasoning behind the decision to launch on next-gen consoles, and what they hope to achieve by this move: "We also hope to be some sort of a trendsetter for hardcore triple-A RPGs on these platforms. So we're ambitious types, we're trying to do it that way. But also there is obviously an element of the hardware, a lot of things that we can easily do with wider landscapes, nice looking effects."" (E3, Lords of the Fallen, PC, PS4, Xbox One)

I'm really excited to find out some more information and see some gameplay for this. Kind of sounds like Demon's Souls set-up as far as an explorable but not open world, and I love Demon's Souls. Could definitely turn out to be really great.
