Square Enix Writes Off Developer Budget

Square Enix have written off an entire developer budget ($16M) of a game that was being developed in Europe. While the game is a huge mystery, fans have been wondering what game has been written off. We do know that IO Interactive is their only European studio which could eat up such a budget and rumors were flying around that it was Nosgoth which was set to be a multiplayer game. (Casual games, Square Enix)

What the hell ? i'd want no IO in my kain/Nosgoth game , even more so if multiplayer . Crystal Dynamics or die .

Well they're making KH3 that should help them get that money back in just pre-orders. In all honesty though, I quote Michael Pachter when I say "I do not get Japanese game companies."

square enix loves to blow away ridiculous amounts of money on marketing and then they complain about sales when their game goes past 3 or 4 millions like what happened with tomb raider. they want cod numbers so they try this s**t but it never works.you've seen Eminem last night at the cod reveal, you think activision blew half their budget on getting a deal with him ? hell no, they probably paid him with money they still have left behind from mw2 lol bottom line is they should manage their budgets more properly
