Payday 2, which was originally slated for a release yesterday, 13 August, has been pushed back to 16 August, due to an error in shipping over at 505 Games. Evidently, shipping a product the day it's supposed to be on shelves is not the best idea.
I had to learn the hard way.
Since they are releasing and not even shipping an incomplete and overhyped game, I think they still have to learn this way as well. Sad that they made profit. Only shows that gamers swallow anything with enough marketing budget.
So with it getting as good of reviews as it has been getting it is overhyped? It is $39.99 and getting great reviews. You must like the games that are $59.99 and are total crap.
1. Your argument of scores is valid for a lot of crap games like Mass Effect 3, AC3, Call of Duty etc. 2. The lower price tag denounces their knowledge of the lack of quality, it seems. This is bad for another reason: reinforces the thought of only half baked games being released at a lower price. 3. I'm getting this from playing the game and from feedback around the internet. From players, not from "specialized" reviews. Wait for the players Metacritic and try not to get hurt when you fall from the horse.
Seems odd that it has a current aggregate score of 8.3 from 184 user ratings on metacritic despite having 23 people like yourself rating it from 0-3. Don't worry the evolutionary train will be by to deposit your intelligence at some point.
@Mestre He got your ass also the team isn't very big over @Overkill and they still ended up releasing a great game.
Does this game have split screen co-op with 2-4 players ?
srry it does not
yeah well it's the 16th and still no payday 2 and some store are saying they still won't see it by the 20th so WTF is happening
