How Well Does Ellie’s Joke Book Fit Into the Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland of The Last of Us?

GeekParty writes: "The idle animation is something that’s evolved quite a bit since the 1990s, and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us provides an excellent example of just how far this simple idea can be taken. There are points in the game where if you stand idle for long enough, Ellie will take out a joke book and start reading off some godawful puns. In fact, if you manage to listen to all of her jokes, you’ll earn a Trophy." (PS3, The Last Of Us)

Loved it. I hate games that take itself seriously all the time. And as was said, it was completely in character of Ellie to make those kind of jokes.
