Food for thought: While game budges continue to rise, their prices have more or less remained the same for nearly two decades. Back in 1989, NES games averaged around $70. In today's dollars, that's $132. I see a lot of people complain about the price of games, and while not all games are worth $60 in my opinion, it doesn't change the fact that games are actually getting cheaper because they don't take inflation into account. $60 isn't really a whole lot when you think about it that way, let alone $15.

But to each their own.

Yeah but we're talking about a remake of an old game that currently has mixed reviews. It's all about value and what was once worth $70 back in 1985 should now be worth $1

The original game is a classic that's nearly 25 years old. It has mixed reviews because a mix of old school and new school gamers are reviewing it. Thus, not all critics are going to embrace it.

Like I said, to each their own. I was merely stating a fact while pointing out the irony that is video game prices and the people who complain about it. ;)
