VGChartz writes: "Preorders for GTAIV are looking, unsurprisingly, very healthy. If current data for preorders is representative of the people who will buy the title in its first week, the PS3 version will sell at a greater attach rate than the Xbox 360 version at launch. There are five Xbox 360 owners for every two PS3 owners in the Americas, right now and yet the data shows that for every eleven reserved copies of GTAIV on Xbox 360 there are six reserved copies for PS3.
In earlier weeks, the preorder ratio was far further in favor of the Xbox 360. Relative to the size of its user base, a PS3 debut of ~800,000 to 1,200,000 is looking likely based on current preorder levels. That would be over a 25% attach rate for PS3. The 360 preorders for GTAIV currently suggest sales of ~1.5 million to ~2.2 million, closer to a 20% attach ratio. Should be interesting to see if the 11:6 preorder ratio holds as the game gets closer to release."
