Can't wait to try this out!

From the article (#4):
"With its new touchpad, the DualShock 4 offers even more possibilities for David Cage‘s next ‘interactive drama’, Beyond: Two Souls – swiping, clicking or even scrawling out words and pictograms with a finger tip"

Did I miss something? This is called the official playstion magazine yet they think Beyond is a PS4 game? Was it announced as coming to PS4 as well?
This isn't the first time I've seen this mistake either so I really am curious now.

Seems pretty poorly researched from the supposed "official" playstation magazine. :/

I reckon it will turn up on PS4.

FamilyGuy1526d ago (Edited 1526d ago )

What indication is there of it being on PS4?
It's a PS3 exclusive and the tech they've created for a PS4 title goes way beyond what's seen in Beyond two souls. Porting it seems pointless when they're already starting/about to start on a brand new title for PS4 using the Dark Sorcerers engine.

I really don't see that happening and I think the writer of this article needs to do his job better.

Cant wait to see how MM implements the touch pad into the next littlebigplanet

The touchscreen was one of the reasons (of course they are other reasons) why LBP Vita is the best in the series. I hope LBP3 (or whatever it is called) uses this feature. Perfect fit

awesomeperson1527d ago

Heavily rumoured Sumo Digital is developing LBP3.
MM have a new IP, which is always welcome (as much as I like LBP, I feel as if their creativity is somewhat hampered being tied to a single IP). Can't wait to see what they do though.

what interests me most is - can you use the DS4 on a PC through bluetooth or USB? {without the need of any special driver like with the DS3)

Hopefully, then it would be the ultimate PC gamepad as well.

I think # 6 sounds the most interesting to me. If you can make a game with split screen/ couch co-op and have the two players hear different things, that has some potential to be really cool. I hope some creative developers come up with some awesome ideas in that area.

I think the new controller is great, but I don't like the dumb light on the back of it. It's going to reflect on the TV and be annoying. Also the light will be largely useless since most people won't bother with the camera. I hope there's a way to turn the light off to save battery and so it won't reflect off the TV/walls.

iamnsuperman1527d ago (Edited 1527d ago )

Unless you play your games with your face touching the TV screen the reflecting thing is a non issue. You will not be able to see it when you are playing a game. I have a bright alarm clock (which for some reason I cannot turn off) and that doesn't reflect of my TV screen. The walls is another matter (if you are playing in the dark but the TV screen itself will be bright anyway).

Also the light bar uses LEDs so it shouldn't drain the battery by anything noticeable as LED uses a very low amount of power.

I still don't think it would hurt to allow me to turn it off if I don't like it.

Look at the bright side if you can't find you controller look for the light it will be easier to find in the dark.
