Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4 Review | ComboCaster

Once they have completely redesigned the game series Penny Arcade RPG, the Zeboyd Games returns to the charge with a fourth and final chapter. Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4 is an evolution of the previous game and not a revolution as it was before. Who played the previous will recognize all the elements that Zeboyd brought in the previous game and that turned into a major producing indie RPG.

For those who have not played Rain-Slick 3, there is a brief introduction sequence that puts us abreast of the current situation of the protagonists. Our party was divided from the end of the last game and now the various characters are in different parts of Underhell. Tycho and Gabe have gone to join with Dr. Blood, while Moira is paired with the skull Jim, who now has a gelatinous body and the ability to speak. The mood is expected and is always present, keeping a mood light and fun despite the apocalyptic situation of the game universe. However, sometimes humor can saturate a bit, resulting in jokes to lose the desired effect. The story manages to keep us interested throughout the game, who has the perfect length. (PC, Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4) 8/10
