PSP #1 in Japan so far this year

The PSP has outsold every console in Japan so far this year. The PSP has sold just about 1,212,524 systems in Japan since the beginning of the year, and in the last two weeks the newest installment of the very popular Japanese title Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter Freedom 2nd G exclusively for the PSP, has sold 1,438,531 units.

Sony has really managed to turn the psp around. Now why not take some of those psp profits and turn that into a ps3 price drop so they can see some improvements in JP too. To catch up to the 360, they need help from all markets

I hate crapcom. They should have never announced that game for PS3 if they weren't gonna deliver. I wouldn't mind if that was the case, but cancelled? Please.

To Be fair the DS only isn't the #1 system anymore because something like 1 out of 3 or 1 out of 4 people in Japan already own one :P

Actually 17% of Japanese own a DS, which is about 1 out of 5.6 people.
