Grand Theft Auto 5: The Evolution of the Cheetah

"Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series has come a long, long way. From the top-down perspective of the first game to the third person, open world sandbox genre of the third game, which has been the template for the series and many other games over the past few years. Grand Theft Auto 5 looks to take things even further, with the amount of activities and missions the player will be able to enjoy." (Grand Theft Auto V, PS3, Xbox 360)

What car its supposed to be?
It looks like Zonda in GTA5

in GTA 1, 2, VC and SA it looks more like a ferrari... weird...

anyway, looks like it could be great fun driving it in these long desert roads!! and deserts itself :) would be cool if you could drive very far away then get stuck in a sands, then you should be walking for hours doing random encounters with criminals, police rangers and animals etc.. snakes and scorpions are wellcome... that would be some GTA I tell ya! :)

Agreed. Always thought it was a testerossa. I don't think it looks like a zonda, maby more of the maserati MC12.

haha, nope. But it is defintely a big leap from the old Cheetah up until now.

I would also love to see the "Infernus" evolution too.

And of course looking at your avatar made me remember:

They don't make cars like how they used to!
Patricko  +   436d ago
Soo...Cheetah is now Enzo, not Testarossa :)
porkChop  +   436d ago
I was really hoping they would stick to the Testarossa. One of my favourite cars.

Come to think of it, wouldn't it be cool if next gen GTA VI had multiple versions of each car model?

For emaple:
New Cheetah - Enzo
Old Cheetah - Testarossa
New Comet - Panamera
Old Comet - 911
New Infernus - Aventador
Old Infernus - Countach

It would be really nice to have those cars from GTA III or VC in the newest GTA. Just redo them in HD, give new textures and place it in some "classic car salon" in the game :)

Ya know, this article is stating the obvious....about almost any series. Castlevania has come a long way from it's beginnings as well. Same as Super Mario, Ninja Gaiden, Legend of Zelda, Sonic the Hedgehog, Elder Scrolls...I could go on for quite a long list.

Just seems like a stale and pointless article.

JackStraw  +   436d ago

I hate what they did to the Manana, used to be my favorite car
Cam977  +   436d ago
Hahaha! I agree, I found it ok in the past but they shat on it.
Angeljuice  +   435d ago
No way did I ever think I'd hear anybody say that. I've always thought everyone just used those to stop better vehicles to exchange.

I'll be rolling with the Comet like I did in GTA 4. Can't wait to customize it.
EazyDuz22  +   435d ago
I used to troll the military base on SA by flying over it and dodging missiles.
MrDead  +   435d ago
The Cheetah is a good car but I'm here for the Blista Compact, show me the legend.
Angeljuice  +   435d ago
I miss the old top-down games, I think R* should commission someone to do it (not full price a £9.99 PS/Xb download). If not, someone should clone it, I NEED MY OLD SCHOOL GTA FIX!
