Chris writes "A picture of the game running on Vita development hardware was posted to Twitter earlier today with the caption “PS VVVVVVita!!!!!!” The funny part is that Terry Cavanagh, VVVVVV’s creator, wasn’t even aware that the project was still in the works."
Alex DS. from Link Cable Gaming writes: " Before the 3DS’ online store joins WiiWare, DSiWare, and the PSP Store in the big farm of defunct digital stores in the sky, we’re taking a moment to put a spotlight on the best the service has to offer. These are the very best 3DS eShop games!"
To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of retro indie platformer VVVVV, developer Terry Cavanagh has released the game’s original source code to the public.
NintendoSoup:
Minimal design, maximal fun. VVVVVV was originally released as a Flash game in 2010, and since then it’s been ported to everything under the sun. I remember playing and loving the 3DS release years back. And I’m happy to report that the game is as good as ever on the Switch. In fact, this might be the best version yet.
I'll wait for the sequel WWWWWWWW.
That title explains a lot
I'd buy it again for Vita. I loved it. So much charm packed into this little game. Here's hoping for an actual sequel one day.
I have it on 3DS and completed it. I'm very happy Vita owners have a chance to play it. If you like a serious challenge, HIGHLY recommended. Some of the best 8-bit music too.
What in the blue fu*k is a VVVVVV?
