Nintendo has announced via its Japanese website that a Wii-white Gamecube controller is due for release this month ... in Japan.
Why on Earth isn't it wireless? If they're going to bother releasing a new Gamecube controller to "go with" the Wii, it seems only logical it would be wireless. What a waste of potential. Oh well.
Yeah - I agree. They should be making a White BlueTooth Wavebird instead.
I always felt that if Nintendo were going to release a new GC controller for the Wii, that it would be a Wavebird w/ a receiver unit that looks like it belongs attached to the Wii's GC controller ports.
Good point. Why would they release a wired controller for the Wii even if it is a GC pad :(
" Wavebird w/ a receiver unit that looks like it belongs attached to the Wii's GC controller ports. " ....the wavebird does have a receiver unit.....
He meant one that doesn't stick out the side like the current reciever.
It's too bad they're not rereleasing the wavebird in white
Why doesn't Nintendo simply release a Wii exclusive bluetooth wavebird with an extra left trigger?
if the new controllers are still going to have buttons that get all worn out. Would be nice if they fixed that.
Kids who were bought the wii are starting complain that they have to move the controllers about so thats why nintendo have made this :)
