Racing games have driven a bumpy road on DS. Despite some notable exceptions, most have failed to deliver a compelling experience. Velocity alone a racer does not make.
TrackMania DS intends to address that very issue, promising more than just speedy races. Tight physics and handling, a slew of multiplayer options, and a comprehensive track editor could put this effort in pole position when released later this year.
Gaming Target writes:
"This week, Activision brings their Little League Baseball series to the PS3 and Xbox 360 with Little League World Series Baseball 2010. The popular TrackMania also makes it's Wii debut (a DS version titled TrackMania Turbo is also on the release schedule). That's about it."

GamerZines: Ubisoft has announced in their latest release schedule that Trackmania Turbo will be released on the DS this September, coinciding with a Wii release featuring the same franchise.
