"Video gaming could help children learn by stimulating the reward system in their brains, researchers will tell an education conference in Melbourne this week"
I remember reading an article about how kinect was being used in school in africa to help children learn english while breaking down walls of shyness or something.
They already taught me some stuff. Like playing videogames taught me English, well, it enhanced the stuff I did learn in school and even games like AC with its Database did teach me some interesting stuff that I didn't know and/or learn in school.
But there are so many more things games can teach you. Playing racing games did honestly help me with driving for example, estimating speeds and situations when driving, I did really feel very comfortable when driving and never had any big fear. But there's also stuff like reaction times, multitasking abilities, etc..
Positive reinforcement.
