Ali from 42 Level One Reviews Cloudberry Kingdom.
96? wow I might give this game a try.
It's a good game, but it's no 96. The randomly generated levels are a nice feature, and Arcade mode can be very addictive for the first few hours, but the game does begin to feel a bit repetitious after awhile. The problem, is that even with randomly generated levels, there just aren't enough types of obstacles or enemies to make every level feel truly different. Still a good game, but no more than an 8/10 in my opinion.
Bought this game the other day, haven't looked back since. This game has been getting very mixed reviews, I've noticed. Some people think it's great, others think the whole "procedurally generated" thing is just a gimmick, but it's not, it barely ever feels like the levels were randomly spat out by a computer, and even when it does, the graphics have so much charm that it doesn't really matter. How could you ever be angry when you're killed by a spinning smily ball?
A good alternative for the folks without a Nintendo product.
96/100... so it's just as good as The Last of Us and Bioshock? We need a better way to rate games.
Wow that is one of the most ignorant comments I have ever seen.
Different games are good for different reasons. Simple as that.
I agree. I'm not knocking this or any other game. But, it's the grading system that we should change or have different categories etc.
