9heads Game Studios's upcoming multiplayer scarefest, Damned, takes the well-known rule about horror being a necessarily solitary experience and tosses it straight into the thresher.
GameGrin's Luke Greenfield writes: "I have come to the conclusion that Horrors favourite letter is D. The Dark Descent. Doorways, DreadOut, Daylight, and now we have Damned, the most recent in the line of D titled horror games."
The survival horror genre saw a slew of bad games, more focused on the action than the scares. The indie scene is beginning to return the fear to our hearts. Fans of the genre are addicted to these scares, and rightly so.
