Flying to the Stars: Themes of The Last Story

GenGAME writes: "In creating The Last Story, the designers tried to break away from their old habits and create something new. Composer Nobuo Uematsu actually rewrote the entire score as it appears in the final game, as the original was too reminiscent of a Final Fantasy title. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata described the game as seeking “a new form of RPG by choosing the universal theme of human emotion.” It is this focus that makes The Last Story such an individually relevant and impactful experience.

"Concept artist Kimihiko Fujisaka felt the game had an authentic setting, as in the world of The Last Story “there would be characters simply leading their lives.” Around every corner there is something to be found in the richness of the themes conveyed by The Last Story."

The story is too old to be commented.

Good read. But, holy crap. I think that's the longest article I've ever read. I'm a little shocked that I finished it.

There should also be a spoiler warning, of some sort. Luckily, I already beat it.
