There are plenty of good puzzle platformers coming out of the indie scene, which is something to write home about. However, not everyone appreciates the subdued and cerebral gameplay and want something with more adrenaline to it. There have been quite a few indie action platformers as well, and Dusty Revenge is now part of that library. If you like both shooting and slashing things up, then you’ll like what it has to offer.
When comparing Dusty Revenge with the competition, it clearly takes advantage games like Shank or Dragon's Crown are clearly superior in almost all respects. However the first impact with Dusty Revenge is interesting, thanks mainly to good graphics. Do not be intimidated by anthropomorphic characters because the game is not so childish. The story is not fantastic, but it goes very dark and macabre despite anthropomorphic characters sites. The atmosphere is a mixture old westerns and steampunk.
Games in Asia: "We’ve got a nice mix of FPS games, mobile games, a rhythm game and a beat-em-up this week. Can you guess what they are?"
Dusty Revenge is great. It’s slick, stylish and chock full of content.
