Features That Should Return in GTA V From Other World Games Like Mafia II, Arkham City and More

Rockstar Games is touted as an Undisputed King of open world gaming genre (with just a little or no competition from others) and they are expected to carry on this unbeatable run with the upcoming next installment in Grand Theft Auto series, GTA V. (Batman: Arkham City, Grand Theft Auto V, Just Cause 2, PS3, Sleeping Dogs, Xbox 360)

Buy music from out of record stores like in True Crimes Streets of NY.

i had no idea you could do that in the game. Damn true crime was an awesome series.

streets of LA kicked ass.

never played that, didn't know you could do that, it's a really good idea though.

Fetch Quests would actually be worthwhile then.

would love to see an actual COMBO system when engaged in hand to hand combat. think something like bayonetta
character customization is also a must.
one kind of interesting idea id like to see is a system in which the characters would have a sort of stats system. general level up system with things like running speed, hand to hand strength, aiming accuracy, ext are all pretty nifty ideas to think about imo

wtf a combo system? this is not a fighting game or a rpg just let R* do its job they never disappoint. why change a masterpiece by adding stuff it dont need.
MASTER_RAIDEN  +   446d ago
doesnt have to be a fighting game to have a combo system. just something more intricate than "x to punch" system would be nice.

I guess people with disagree with me here but I honestly think that's more prejudice than good reason. But Forza Horizon had a sweet voice control system where you control the GPS through speech. Meaning you never have to open up the map to set waypoints and stuff, you just do it on the fly.

I'd love to see: say, GPS - "find nearest..." massive possiblilities. Mini-game, specific mini games, nearest golf course, tennis court, comedy club, strip club. Oh and Missions, but I tend to forget about those with this games scale.

None.. Keep it only GTA style and never take the other rubbish from other games

No QTE's!!

That list forgot the most important thing. Turn indicators when driving to a destination so you don't spend the whole drive staring out the mini-map.

It's nice being able to look around the environment when driving instead of just the minimap.
