Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have confirmed that a sequel to Tomb Raider (2013) is officially in the works. If you’re a fan of Lara Croft, and of the gritty action/adventure style of Uncharted, then the new Tomb Raider may be for you.
How about it actually plays and feels like a proper Tomb Raider game. Now I'm not saying it was crap, it wasn't it was a great game but it just didn't feel like I was playing Tomb Raider. They could of renamed this and I wouldn't of been any of the wiser. I mean the tombs in the game were optional. Not too mention Lara's voice acting was just plan terrible. I would of preferred them do an origin story on the real Lara, the first one, the one the majority of us TR fans grew up with. Her plane goes down in the Himalayas, it kills her parents and fiancée and she manages to survive like 2 weeks before finding a small town where she finally calls for help. Throw some hidden ancient tombs deep into the Himalayas, some wild predators and maybe a few human enemies like hunters and you have a fantastic story. With that kind of setting and with her loosing three people she loves while getting over it trying to survive for 2 weeks in the cold Himalayas...it would be a perfect game and would really show how Lara became hardened, becoming the women we love today
Can I agree with you ten Times? ... if n4g would let me I would!
Make it longer, bigger, longer puzzles, more animal enemies, less ammo, and more boobies. I felt like there weren't that many human enemies and they did pose a challenge when they were in groups. I died many times because they rush and the arches have good aim when you also try to use your bow without being behind some cover. So good job on making the enemies hard, but add more human and animals enemies, as well as some mythical ones. Try to make it less Uncharted and more Tomb Raider 1,2,and 4.
If only they really COULD make it longer and bigger. =P
Games like Half Life were long, even though it was linear, it was still so epic that very few games can touch it.
