It is hard to think of more than a few examples of F2P done it a way that is both fair to the gamer and still allows the developer to make some money out of it. The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot could be the game to break the stigma.
Ubisoft’s The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is a hack and slash game that’s as basic as they come. In it, you play a knight that loots castles, finding epic weapons and armor and growing stronger with every challenge. For some reason, there’s also small adorable creature hovering over your shoulder and that’s about it. It’s an incredibly fun and satisfying experience.
