SEGA's Total War: Rome II is large and in charge | Game Guys

They say that good things come to those who wait. Well, by that logic those who have been waiting for the sequel to PC game Total War: Rome should expect great things from Total War: Rome II. After all, they've been waiting nine years for the darn thing. (PC, Total War: Rome II)

So the reviewer is comparing a European campaign map and units to shogun 2's Japanese map and units. Duh of course Rome 2 will be much larger.

You realize they scale the land to have an = amount of territories or close to it right ?

Have you ever played a Total War game ?

Anyways, can't wait for this.

Yes I've played them all except Napoleon. The campaign map in m2tw and etw were still much larger than shogun 2. Also the number of units in shogun 2 were extremely limited simply by the nature of the theatre. Hence I found it silly that the reviewer compared rome2 to shogun2.
